CIXCI / Revenue Impact
Revenue ImpactAccessory revenue, run like a business line.
Accessory commerce can create an additional revenue opportunity across device purchases, activations, upgrades, BYOD journeys, and post-purchase needs. CIXCI provides the governed operational flow needed to offer participating vendor products without purchasing or stocking that assortment.
Three inputs. One measurable contribution model.
Accessory contribution depends on the number of relevant customer opportunities, the percentage that result in an accessory purchase, and the net contribution generated by those purchases. CIXCI supports the catalog, compatibility, order, fulfillment, return, and reporting workflows needed to measure the resulting activity.
- Eligible opportunities — device purchases, activations, upgrades, BYOD journeys, and other supported customer moments where an accessory offer is available.
- Attach rate — the percentage of defined eligible opportunities that result in an accessory purchase. Accurate calculation requires the seller to provide opportunity or exposure data.
- Net contribution per purchase — retail revenue less vendor wholesale cost, applicable commissions, discounts, returns, refunds, and other costs in the approved methodology.
CIXCI supports the operating flow and resulting records. The wireless seller controls product placement, assortment selection, retail pricing, checkout, marketing, and the broader customer experience.
The operating model changes who owns inventory and fulfillment.
For products fulfilled through participating CIXCI vendors, the wireless seller does not purchase or stock the participating assortment. Vendors retain inventory and fulfill assigned orders, while the seller retains the storefront, checkout, customer relationship, return initiation, customer communication, and applicable refunds.

Relevant accessory opportunities occur throughout the device journey.
Accessory relevance can change depending on the customer’s device, purchase stage, and immediate needs. Wireless sellers can evaluate where approved accessory offers fit naturally within their supported commerce experience.
During a device purchase or activation
A customer selecting or activating a device may also need cases, chargers, cables, screen protection, or other compatible products.
During an upgrade or BYOD journey
Approved device-to-product mappings can help the seller present accessories associated with the customer’s selected device.
After the initial transaction
Replacement, additional, and complementary accessories can support continued commerce when the seller has an approved post-purchase experience.
Turn platform activity into actionable reporting.
The platform records product, pricing, order, shipping, return, commission, reconciliation, and invoice activity across the accessory program. These records support core sales, financial, return, and vendor-performance reporting. When authorized under the wireless seller’s agreement, additional seller data can extend reporting across the broader customer and device journey.
Reporting from platform records
- Product and category sales
- Tracks validated accessory orders by product, category, wireless seller, and vendor.
- Gross sales
- Calculates accessory sales using recorded retail pricing and approved completed-order rules.
- Estimated gross margin
- Uses recorded retail prices, vendor wholesale prices, commissions, and applicable adjustments.
- Returns and refunds
- Connects completed accessory sales with return activity, vendor disposition, and reported refund information.
- Vendor performance
- Uses order, shipping, delivery, return, and service-level records to evaluate operational performance.
- Reconciliation and invoicing
- Supports monthly commission reporting, adjustments, reconciliation, and invoice preparation.
Expanded reporting with shared wireless-seller data
When included in the wireless seller’s agreement and supplied through an approved connection, device, activation, subscriber, offer-exposure, and authorized customer-reference data can add the following measurements.
- Attach rate
- Compares accessory purchases with defined eligible opportunities or offer exposures.
- Revenue per subscriber
- Connects recognized accessory revenue with the applicable subscriber count.
- Revenue per device transaction
- Connects accessory revenue with eligible device purchases, activations, or upgrades.
- Repeat-purchase frequency
- Measures repeat activity when an authorized, stable customer reference is available across transactions.
- Cohort analysis
- Examines performance across approved customer or account groups, time periods, and defined events.
